Pedagogy: Blended MOOCS Approach (on line learning+ face to face interactions)
As a part of corporate skill empowerment, College had taken initiation and explained the significance of college to corporate program offered by IIT Bombay using blended MOOCS method which comprises of on line learning and face to face interactions in order to empower their corporate training and communication skills.
90 students from IV B.Tech had registered at IITB C2C web link through online registration process by paying registration fee of Rs 850/- via online payment for the above stated courses between 20th August to 12th September.
The first two courses Effective use of IT professionals and Soft skills had started on 7th September and ends on 12th November. Third course scheduled on 12th October and ends on 12th November. The registered students had accessed the video tutorials through you tube links and IITB C2C web link provided by IITB at GIST digital library. The registered students participated in face to face interactive sessions with IITB professors at GIST DG hall successfully. All the registered students solved and submitted the assignments and quizzes provided by the respective course co coordinators.
All Participated students 90 in number from College had successfully completed the three courses stated above and got an online honor code certificates for the first semester from IIT Bombay X. Departments had sponsored 40% of the registration fee to all the participants of C2C program.
