It gives me immense pleasure welcome & introduce GIST, is established in the year 2008, since is playing very crucial role in the intellectual empowerment of the students, The primary focus of all our efforts at GIST is to continuously fine tune our education delivery systems and internal processes to accord with the needs and challenges of the contemporary world.
The college is sensitive to the forces of globalization and its effect on Indian education. The country today needs to develop engineers who know the best technology and can deploy it to produce the best products and services. We need engineers who can translate requirements into real functional systems.
We are constantly reviewing our teaching –learning processes to make them modern and keep them upto rest all is excellence. Engineering students today should be well-rounded problem solvers who go beyond the confines of their functional units. Whereas carrying out one’s function is important, this function is to be seen in the larger context of the value addition that a corporation wishes to provide.
Apart from imparting relevant domain knowledge and building competencies necessary for effective functioning anywhere in the world, we also make conscious efforts to improve the sensitivity of our students to different ethos, value systems and cultural milieu which they may experience in the course of their careers. The aim is to make our students autonomous and socially responsible human beings. I am confident that those who choose to be a part of us as students will find the experience enriching and exciting.
