Report on “Health awareness Programme on Breast Cancer”
A health awareness programme was conducted by Women Protection Cell (WPC)of Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology on 30-10-2018 to bring about awareness among students & faculty about breast cancer.Speaking on the occasion as a Chief Guest Dr. Haritha from Simhapuri hospitals explained the ill effects of breast cancer, possible cure of that cancer and the precaution to be taken for the prevention of breast cancer. Prof. G. SubbaRao, Principal of the college said that the institute is in the fore-front for conducting such programmes regularly for the benefit of student and faculty. Ms.I.Rajeswari and Ms.P.Haritha acted as the Coordinator for the programme .
