Report on One Day Industrial Visit to Indo national Limited (NIPPO)
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) organized a one-day industrial visit to Indo National Limited (NIPPO) on 28-07-2026 with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to industrial manufacturing processes and modern production technologies. The visit was arranged to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts learned in the classroom and their real-world industrial applications. During the visit, students observed various stages involved in the manufacturing of dry cell batteries, including raw material preparation, electrode fabrication, cell assembly, electrolyte filling, sealing, labeling, quality inspection, testing, packaging, and storage. The technical experts explained the working principles of battery technology, the importance of precision in manufacturing, quality assurance procedures, and the role of automation in achieving high production efficiency. Students also gained valuable insights into industrial safety measures, environmental protection practices, waste management, maintenance procedures, and the implementation of quality management systems.
