Parent’s Meeting held on 29.10.2017 Sunday
A parents meeting was held for the parents and students of II, III, IV ECE branch on 29.10.2017, i.e. Sunday with the objective of appraising the parents of the academic progress of their wards and addressing issues if, any concerning the academic administration of the campus. Over 450 parents and students actively involved themselves in the meet and several parents interacted with the principal regarding a number of issues related to academic performance of their wards.
The meeting commenced with the welcome address by Mr. P.Raghava Reddy, HOD, Associate Professor, who elaborated on the steady advancement made by the department over past nine years. He laid emphasis on the distinctive and outstanding achievements pulled off by the department particularly in getting approval of student innovation projects at the national level innovation challenges contest organized by INTEL, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS. He also stressed on the active role to be played by the parents in extending support to the department as well as motivating their wards to constantly update and upgrade their technical competencies to cope with the needs and expectations of the industry and their obligation to the society.
Addressing the gathering of the parents, Dr. G.Subba Rao, Principal said that the parents would have to focus on the academic progress of their wards by constant monitoring and periodic interaction with H.O.D and faculty. He gave an appraisal to the parents or the facilities and academic infrastructure provided to the students enabling them to achieve academic advancements in their chosen domains.
Dr. S.K. Mahaboob Basha, Senior Professor of the department, dwelt at length on the emerging trends in communication engineering and urged the students to sharpen their technical skills keeping pace with the constantly evolving technologies, to lead the nation on the path of progress and growth.
Another senior faculty Mrs. K.Radhika addressing the gathering of the students advised them to strive with a spirit of dedication and commitment to overcome the challenges in pursuit of their goals and translate their cherished dreams into reality.
The programme was coordinated by Mr. V.Bhaskar Rao, Associate Professor and faculty took part in the event making it a grand success.
