A Report Summary on the Fourth National Conference on
Advanced Trends In Computer Science And Information Technology (NCATCSIT-2021)
The Fourth National Conference on ‘Advanced Trends In Computer Science And Information Technology (NCATCSIT-2021)’ held in Geethanjali Institute of Science & Technology, Nellore on 3rd July2021 in online mode and brought together 300 participants from various engineering colleges in and around Andhra Pradesh. This was a one day national conference hosted by the department of Computer Science & Engineering and it was technically sponsored by Jupiter Publications Consortium. The Conference brought together various representatives of national institutions, lead experts, and academia and research scholars.
The Inauguration Reception was compeered by the student representatives Ms. Bhargavi & Ms. Kundana Preethi of IV CS as a mark of our tradition and culture.
The conference was launched with warm welcoming address from Professor & Head of CSE, Dr.V.Sireesha stating the importance and identity of this conference. It is followed by the introduction of chief guest by Mrs.Sukeerthi, Assistant Professor of CSE.
Dr.G.Subbarav, Principal of Geethanjali Institute of Science & Technology, delivered the presidential address calling attention to the impact of AI&ML in socity”. He also insisted the constant update of technical knowledge is necessary in the field of computer science. He assured that this conference would definitely help the participants in innovative technical ideas for their research and healthy information sharing.
Dr.Sumaltha, Professor of SRM University, underscored the growing needs of computing technologies in every other field. He encouraged the youth to urge and learn to make themselves competent to this fast growing world.
DR.Hanumanthappa Head – Computer Applications Dept, Bangalore University, was Chief Guest of the day, focused on importance of Artificial intelligence and range of beneficial applications. He insisted that youth should inculcate creative ideas and aim to become entrepreneurs. He pinpointed several instances in his experience and motivated the young minds.
This is followed by the special event of the day, Conference Proceedings is released by the honorable chief guest and the first copy was received by the Principal.
In the technical presentation, many papers were presented by participants on various domains like AI& ML Clouds& Grids, Network Security, Image Processing, Big Data Analysis, Data Mining, Security in Clouds etc., The presentation is reviewed by panel of experts and they are queried by both the expert panel and audience.
In the valedictory function, certificates are distributed to all the participants by the principal. Out of several papers presented, best papers are honored with certificatoins and published in Journals.
He congratulated the delegates and the hosting department for the successful conduct of conference. Few participants shared their feedback of attending this conference, expressing about their excitement of learning, hospitality and infrastructure provided by the college.
On behalf of the department of Computer Science & Engineering, the hosting department, she extended her gratitude to the College Management, Principal, Chief Gests, HoD, Delegates, Panelists and Organizing Committee. The Conference came to end with the National Anthem.
