Guest Lecture On Power Electronics Drives

The department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized a one day Guest Lecture on the topic “Power Electronics Drives” by Mr.N.SrinivasaRao,JE(Electrical),South Central Railway, Machilipatnam held on 17-01-2018.The Principal of GIST, Prof. Dr. G.SubbaRaoaddressed the students regarding the industrial automation and application of power electronic drives in industry.The resource person discussed with the pre requisite of Power Electronics System, Power electronic converters in Electrical Drives DC and AC Drives, Modeling of power converters like current controlled converters, Modeling of Power Converters, Scalar control of Induction motor. Around 66 students from III^rd year participated in this program.
