III-BTech EEE Students visited “WEBERS ELECTRIC PRIVATE Ltd”. a Transformer manufacturing and testing unit situated at Venkatachalam, NELLORE on 12.10.2017 as a part of Industrial trip.
Sri MAHENDRA CEO of WEBERS explained the students in an elaborated manner about the Transformer types, construction, working and Testing etc during the first session of the day
In latter session all the students were taken round the industry to observe assembling of Transformer windings, core and yoke etc .Also various test procedures open circuit ,short circuit , load test including insulation test are demonstrated to the students batch wise .In assembly division and in testing division respectively.
At the end of the visit students enthusiastically involved in getting clarifications over their doubts.
