A REPORT on Orientation Day For I Year B.Tech Students
The Orientation-cum-Induction programme for the I year B.Tech students joined in Geethanjali Institute of Science & Technology, Gangavaram, Nellore Dist has been celebrated on 30-06-2017.
The Chief Guest of the programme was Ms. D. Haritha, Deputy Collector & Project Director (DWMA), who motivated the students as to how great heights can be scaled even in adverse situations, through uncompromising goal setting, hard work, dedication and determination.
The other guests of honour were Mr. Sanjivi Syamsundar, Director-Delivery, Virtusa Polaris, Chennai and Mr. N.G. Raju, Head Recruitment & Marketing, who have inspired the students with a general orientation to Engineering education and awareness on opportunities available for the deserving.
The parents and the freshly joined students attended the programme with great enthusiasm. Grand spectacles of the teachers symbolically imparting the light of knowledge to the students through kindling the lights in great procession, classical dances and cultural events were the high-lights of the day.
Mr. D.B.RaviReddy,Chairman,USHODAYAEDUCATIONAL SOCIETY, Mr. N. Sudhakar Reddy, Secretary and Correspondent, Prof Dr. G. Subbarao, Principal, Mr. P Srinivasulu Reddy, Joint Secretary, Mr. Y. Vijay Shankar Reddy, Treasurer, all HODs, and Faculty took part in the event.
