A Report on “Career Awareness Programme: How to Crack IES, GATE & PSU?”
The Industry Institute Coordination Cell (IICC) of Geethanjali Institute of Science has organized a “Career Awareness Programme: How to Crack IES, GATE &PSU?”on 27th August 2019 in the New Seminar Hall. The morning session was conducted between 10.30AM and 12.30 PM for the third year students of ECE, ME and EEE Departments, and the afternoon session was conductedbetween 2.30 PM and 4.30 PM for the third year students of CSE and Civil EngineeringDepartments.
The IES Officer, Indian Radio Regulatory Service, Ministry of Communications Mr. VaibhavChhabra was the Guest for the Programme. He explained “How to crack IES, GATE & PSUs” in the very first attempt and diverse career options after B.Tech. He also discussed techniques of memory management, personality development and time management skills. He further suggested various books and web links to the students to get selected in IES, GATE and the other prestigious PSUs like ONGC, NTPC, BHELetc.to secure top ranks.
The programme was interactive and the students got awareness of the importance of above tests in contemporary scenario. Prof. Dr. G.Subba Rao, the Principal of the college, welcomed the guest warmly and felicitated Mr. VaibhavChhabra. Dr.P.Chakrapani, HOD/ IICC coordinated the programme. All the HODs of different Departments, several faculty members and about 500 students from III year B. Tech were present in both the sessions.
