TRAINING THE BUDDING ENGINEERS

”COLLEGE TO CORPORATE”
Our GIST, the only college in Nellore district, has been enrolled for the “college to corporate” program of IIT,Bombay.Our college , an RC of IIT,Bombay ,feels proud to be a part of this program & utilised this at the maximum to all its final year students thereby making their journey from college to corporate easier, satisfying the expectations of the corporate world. This program comprises a series of 4 short courses ,designed by IIT,Bombay,targetting final & prefinal students to help them prepare for the corporate world & perform better in their recruitment process incidentally.
The courses offered are;
- Soft skills
- Workplace Communication
- Technical Skills
- Financial Literacy
The course is discretely integrated into Regular schedule in two phases:
- Phase I : 4 Sep to 12 Nov
- Phase II:15 Jan to 23 Mar
Students interact through A-view,face–to–face communication in blended/hybrid MOOC’s pedagogy designed by IIT,Bombay. Nearly 100 students from different branches of final year have registered for this program.
