“Introduction to R Programming”
A Two-Day Faculty Development Program on “Introduction to R Programming” was successfully conducted under the joint auspices of Department of Computer Science and Engineering & ICT academy in association with CSI at the CC2 Lab of Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology on 6th and 7th April 2018.
The FDP program received an overwhelming response with more than 30 participants from various Engineering Colleges. Ms.R.KamatchiDevi the trainer from ICT academy, explained each and everything very well with simple examples.
The trainer covered the following topics:
- Introduction to R programming
- Data Types, Objects
- Control Structures
- Read and Write Data into R
- K-Means Clustering Algorithm
The following feedback was received from the participants:
- That the delivery and presentation of the resource person was good.
- That the FDP brought practical knowledge of the subject through the application orientation.
