TREE PLANTATION IN GIST
Geethajali Institute of Science and Technology successfully completed the event of Tree Plantation under the National Service Scheme at college campus,by the inspiration of state government ‘Vanam-Manam’ program on 6th September 2019.
The event began with welcoming of honorable Secretary Sri. N. Sudhakar Reddy, honorable Principal Sri Dr. G. Subbarao by NSS Volunteers. Secretary Sri. N. Sudhakar Reddyadviced volunteers to think differently for the Society to make positive changes and to make improvement. Principal Sri Dr. G. Subbarao addressed the gathering about the concern shown by the Geethanjali Institution about the environment by creating awareness among the students.
After the inspirational words of Secretary and Principal all move towards the place where tree plantation took place. A very first tree plant by Sri. N. Sudhakar Reddy, in college premises and then Principal Sri Dr. G. Subbarao also plant a tree. Total tree planted by all others including teachers, volunteers were more than 15 on the day.
All were happy and experience proud after the tree plantation event was finished, because it really feels great to do positive for the nature.
