Three Days Training Program On Embedded Systems Using ARM Mbed
Three days training program on embedded systems using ARM Mbed was conducted in department of ECE, Geethanjali institute of science and technology, Nellore on 09.01.2019 to 11.01.2019 for third year students. This program aimed to educate the third year students of ECE to get acquaintance in Embedded Systems based ARM processors.
During these three days, students got hands on training with the freescale semiconductor the Freedom KL25Z board. This freedom KL25Z is an ultra-low-cost development platform with MCUs built on ARM Cortex processor. It has Features include easy access to MCU I/O, battery-ready, low-power operation, a standards-based form factor with expansion board options and a built-in debug interface for flash programming and run-control. The FRDM-KL25Z is supported by a range of NXP and third-party development software.
Students got trained on www.mbed.org at no charge, with full access to the online SDK, tools, reusable code which means no downloads, installations or licenses required. With the help of trainer from Mumbai based firm Eduvance, programming from basic LED blinking to Gesture based Airmouse level were taught to students. Feedback from students was at satisfied level and felt comfort in learning such a current trends in their core engineering.
