SRUJANA-2K21 National Level Symposium held at GIST on 25-06-21
A national level Tech Fest “SRUJANA 2K21” was organised at GIST under the auspices of Department of Science and Humanities with pomp and fanfare, on 25 June 2021
The event was conducted with the objective of promoting the basic awareness among the I B.Tech students about the crucial role played by engineering education, stressing on the importance of diverse engineering branches in the technological progress of the nation. Speaking at the inaugural ceremony Dr. G. Subba Rao Principal underscored the significance of learning basic sciences in order to strengthen the fundamental knowledge of engineering education.
Participating in the event, Mr. N. Sudhakar Reddy Secretary & Correspondent urged the students to come forward to take part in such technical events with zeal and enthusiasm to broaden the scope of their technical expertise and sharpen the engineering skills.
Dr. P.M. Kishore H.O.D, S&H Department elaborated on the need for the students to get adequate exposure to modern trends evolving in different engineering domains, in his address.
In connection with the event, poster presentation in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English and general quiz contests were organised in the afternoon session. The event evoked an overwhelining response from different states as over 175 students took part in the event. The winners were announced in the valedictory ceremony in the evening.
