A NATIONAL LEVEL TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM at 18th June
REPORT
A National Technical Symposium SARGA-2K22 was organised at Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology on 18/06/2022 i.e Saturday by the Department of Electronics and communication Engineering in collaboration with IETE Tirupathi. The main objective of this program is to create awareness among the engineering aspirants about the emerging technologies in Electronics & communication engineering besides upskilling their technical expertise to match the needs,demands and expectations of the industry.
Over 462 student participants from various colleges across the state took part in a wide range competetions connected with the event such as paper presentation,poster presentation,project Expo,Technical Quiz and circuit debugging,python coding .Among the participants 44 students bagged the prizes in various competitions held on the occasion.
The Convenor of the program Mr.P.Raghavareddy outlined the journey, progress & achievements of the Department of Electronics and communication Engineering since it’s inception. Delivering his presidential adress on the occasion Dr G.Subbarao, principal said that such academic events as seminar, symposium, workshops constitute an integral part of engineering education aimed at broadening the knowledge base of the budding engineers. He also stated that the institution was organising such kind of national level events to prepare the students for the complex challenges in the professional world driven by a futuristic vision.Dr.TNVLN Kumar , Director Academics & Admin, speaking on the occasion speaking on the occasion communication engineering domain has a plethora of opportunities which the students should be smart and dynamic enough to grab a facilitating their career growth.
Participating in the event as a guest Mr.Puchalapalli Sriharsha, staff layout design engineer,insemi technologies,Bangalore urged the students to lay intense focus on emerging technologies while solidifying to their fundamentals in engineering.He also advised the students to strengthen their core competencies in VLSI, python coding languages . Speaking on the occasion another Mr.Pendem Gopi,Tech lead, Devops engineer, Dun & Broadcast technologies, Chennai called upon the students to thoroughly survey the job market and enhance their skill set to stay relevant in this highly competetive market scenario.
Mr.M.V.Pradhyumna Kumar ,Senior Consultant All state India Pvt Ltd exhorted the students to imbibe leader ship qualities, communication skills and industry relevant competencies to brighten their career process. He lauded the management and principal for organizing such dynamic academic events to bring much needed exposure to the students to the industrial environment.
The program came to a conclusion with prize distribution at the respective venues. The program turned out to be a spectacular success with the effective coordination and cooperation,support extended by Teaching ,non teaching staff & Students.
