The Sankranthi Sambaralu was celebrated on 13-01-2017 in Geethanjali institute of science and technology, Gangavaram, Nellore (District). The day has been observed as festival look, village traditional look and representation of culture & heritage south Costal of Andhra Pradesh, India. The Co-ordinator Mr. M. Mahesh Kumar & his team of Sankranthi Sambaralu-2017 of GIST College organized different competitions like: Rangoli, Pongali Preparation, Kite Flying and Kabaddi on that day in between from 9.30 AM -2.30 PM in the college campus. In this context, students of GIST happily participated in Sankranthi Sambaralu-2017. Particularly, The Rangoli & Pongali Preparation was very good with festival look and thematic representation of Pongal. Finally, the Management, Principal & all HODs gave away the Prizes to the winners at administration block. The Management, Principal, all teaching, non-teaching staff & students happily participated in Sankranthi Sambaralu-2017.
