Report On Guest Lecture On “Power Generation,Transmission and Distribution”
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering(EEE) ,Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) had organized a Guest Lecture on “Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution” Lecture by P.Muni Ravi Chandra, Deputy Executive Engineer,APSPDCL,Venkatagiri on 29/11/2022. Around 120 students have registered for this program from IIIrdand IVth B.Tech ISem EEE department.
The guest lecture concept is on generation of electricity, Transmission of electric Power and Distribution of electricity.The lecture also discussed about the possibilities and reach abilities of research and development in Electrical field, opportunities in core technical areas with authenticated explanations.
The Principal of GIST, Prof. Dr. Sundeep Kumar had presided over the inaugural function and addressed the gathering by emphasizing the importance of Role of Power Generation, Transmission and Distributionfor modern engineers. Dr.T.Ravi Kumar HOD/EEE.The Guest Lecturewas coordinated by Ms.Ch.SilpiPriyanka Assistant Prof/EEE.After his lecture the students were given time to interact with him. Students felt that the session was more informative and interactive. At the end of the guest lecture, students gave their feedback, and explained how they were benefited.
