One day Webinar “Overview on VLSI”
The Department of R&D and ECE of Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology jointly organized a One day Webinar “Overview on VLSI” on Thursday, 4th June, 2020 in Online for Academicians and students.
Faculty from various states such as Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have registered and participated in the webinar. 487 Participants are actively participated in the webinar.

- Introduction of VLSI and VLSI Design
- Identification of problems for Research
- Case studies of various research

Dr. K.Venkata Ramanaiah is currently working as Professor & Head of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Y.S.R Engineering College of Yogi Vemana University, Proddatur. Prior to this he worked as principal at Narayana Engineering College, Gudur. He is having more than 26 years of experience in teaching. His areas of research interests include Low Power VLSI design architectures, Image Processing, Neural Network Based Image Compression etc. He published papers in more than 110 International and National journals and 30 Internationals conferences.
He Received Adarsh Vidya Saraswati Rashtriya Puraskar National award from Global Management Counicl in July-2018. He obtained his Ph.D from JNT University of Hyderabad in 2009. He did his Ph.D under the esteemed guidance of Dr. K. Lal Ksihore (Ex Vice Chancellor of JNT University Anantapur), M.Tech from JNTU College of Engineering Kukatpally Hyderabad in 1998. & B.E from KBNCE Gulbarga University Gulbarga1992.
