ONE DAY INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO CONSENSUS
An Industrial visit was organized by Department of Computer Science & Engineering, Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology, Gangavaram (v),Nellore. About 28 students, along with faculty members Mr. K.Venkata Nagendra and Mis. P.Radhika from Departments of Computer Science & Engineering.
At Consensus, resource person Mr. Venkat on the topic of “Software and Automation Testing” took a session. Mr.Nijesh talked about various testing principles and methodologies, which are being applied at Consensus nowadays. He stated that every software development group tests its products, yet delivered software always has defects. Test engineers strive to catch them before the product is released but they always creep in and they often reappear, even with the best manual testing processes. Test Automation software is the best way to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and coverage of software testing. Automated software testing has long been considered critical for big software development organizations but is often thought to be too expensive or difficult for smaller companies to implement.
The Students have the most amazing visit which gave the real technical insight. They learned so much about the functioning knowledge where we visited and the procedure to become a good software Tester. It helped to the students to explore their skills and thinking capacity. This visit gave exposure about opportunities in Testing. These types of visits should be carried out for the students regularly so that the students get exact exposure about the working and requirements of the industries.
