As part of spreading the message of the value of education among the illiterate rural folk, the college has organized a ‘Literacy Awareness Programme’ at the Municipal Primary School, Gangavaram village of Kovur Mandal, (one of the villages adopted by the college) , on 28th Jun, 2015 at 10 AM.
70 student volunteers along with faculty members have attended the programme carrying banners and messages in placards highlighting the importance basic education for improving the standard of life. . As a mark of encouragement several sports events have been conducted and prizes were given away to the winners. The programme was well received by the local villagers.
