INDUSTRY INSTITUTE INTERACTION SESSION

An Industry – Institute interaction session was held under the auspices of GIST CARVING CAREER on 4th August 2016 for the enrolled students of CRT. Participating in the programme as the Chief Guest, Mr. R. Bala Krishnan, CEO, Excelencia I Tech Consulting Pvt. Ltd., Chennai addressed the students gathering. Referring to the corporate challenges the students have to face after their graduation, he urged them to enhance the inherent personality traits such as self-esteem, adaptability, communication skills, leadership qualities, perseverance, out of the box thinking, practical vision, to emerge winners in the corporate world. He dwelt at length on the different aspects of IT industry and core domain. He elaborated upon the boom and bust of IT industry, providing the students with many useful inputs on honing and sharpening their employability skills to make their mark on the industrial sector. Mr. S. Karthikeyan, Manager HR emphasized the development of skill set, keeping pace with the rapidly developing industrial scenario. He urged the students to shun their negative mindset and nurture optimistic outlook towards life to become successful in domains of their specialization.
Prof Dr. G. Subba Rao, Principal in his welcome address said that GIST envisages many MOU’s, tie-ups and collaboration intiataives with several corporate and industrial houses in future to provide the job aspirants with plenty of employment opportunities.
