This is the first & parent dairy plant of Dodla established in 1997. It has an installed capacity of 0.20 Million litres of raw milk per day in Fiscal 2018 and a milk powder plant of capacity 15,000 KG. The dairy is also equipped with infrastructure for manufacturing by-products viz., Curd, Butter, Ghee, Paneer, Sterilized Flavoured Milk, Buttermilk, Doodh Peda and Sweet Lassi etc. The Plant also has a Butter cold storage to store 1000 MT butter. While this dairy is catering to the liquid milk demand in the city of Chennai and some towns of Andhra Pradesh viz., Nellore, Ongole, Tirupati, products such as flavoured milk is sold to many towns in Southern India. Ghee finds its place in the Northern part of India. The rate of milk is decided on the basis of SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility). It has a milk powder plant and effluent treatment plant. The waste water from Dodla dairy is treated in effluent plant and used for gardening purpose. The treatment plant includes oil screen chamber, equalization tank (1,80,000 LTR), buffer tank (85000 LTR), USAB reactor, aeration tank and sludge drying bed.
