Description:

An event of 5 days value added course was conducted to the IV year students of Civil Engineering Dept by Sri.Ch. Manoj Kumar, Site Engineer, Sri Saiteja Constructions and Consultancy, Srikakulam. 

• The students were given with inputs on how to successfully apply business and management skills in positions within the construction industry.
• Discussed different aspects on how to apply technical skills and knowledge in mathematics, science, construction and technology in support of planning, analyzing, and solving construction problems
• Given various ways and ideas to use industry resources including associations and organizations, professional publications and governmental data to analyze, evaluate and apply current trends within the industry.
• Dealt with aspects on managing a quality construction project from start to completion while maintaining budget, schedule and safety requirements.
• The students got good knowledge and understanding to analyze, evaluate and select computer applications for the purpose of efficient and effective project management.

Some inputs are given to students about how to apply professional and ethical standards of behavior in dealing with all stakeholders in the construction process
