Indian Coast Guard: Student Interaction

The Industry Institute Coordination Cell (IICC) of Geethanjali Institute of Science has organized a “Career Guidance Programme – Indian Coast Guard: Student Interaction” on 11 Jan 2019 at the New Seminar Hall between 11.30 AM and 01.00 PM.  Deputy Commandant Dhanunjaya Bharadwaj was the guest for the Programme, who explained the functions, roles and responsibilities of Indian Coast Guard and career opportunities in Coast Guard, various benefits associated with CG and mode of entry into it.  There was a dynamic and enthusiastic interaction with the students. Prof. G. Subba Rao, Principal of the college welcomed the Coast Guard Officers warmly and acknowledged their contribution in safeguarding the nation and curbing smuggling. Dr. P. Chakrapani, HOD IICC and the Placement Officer Mr. Y Dinakar were present along with several members of faculty and about 350 students of III year B.Tech.
