Report on “Gender equality”
An awareness program on gender equality was conducted by the Women Protection Cell of Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology on 22-02-2019 as per the instructions of MHRD government of India to focus on awareness on Gender equality at 2pm in old seminar hall.
Prof.Dr.G. Subba Rao, Principal of the GIST addressing the gathering said that programme was organized to inculcate respect and ability towards women in society. professor TNVLN Kumar, director express today that programmes like this are helpful in defining attitude towards women in rapidly developing world. Dr.CH. Kalyani HOD S &H nodal teacher pinpointed on we need of a notion of equality among genders and express today that these kind of programmes would be in achieving the objective.
