Geethanjali institute of science and technology celebrated Engineers’ Day on 15th September, 2017 in its premises with some activities conducted for students. Engineers’ Day is observed in India in honor of Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, who was born in 1860. He was the chief designer of the flood protection system designed and built for the city of Hyderabad, as well as the chief engineer responsible for the construction of Krishna Raja Sagara dam in Mysore. The following programs were conducted on this special occasion.
