A Two-Day National Mathematics Day Celebrations Organised by S & H at GIST
A Two-Day National Mathematics Day Celebrations were organised at GIST on 22, 23 Dec 2020, commemorating the 133th Birth Day of the renowned Indian Mathematician Sri Sreenivasa Ramanujan with grandeur and gaiety.
In connection with the event, an Aptitude Quiz Contest event was conducted for 420 students. In the ensuing programme on Tuesday and Wednesday the toppers in the I year I sem were awarded with prizes and certificates.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. G. Subba rao, Principal, Lauded the yeoman services rendered by S. Ramanujan to Indian mathematics, and Ramanujan number 1729 remained a miracle for all mathematicians till date.
Mr. N. Sudhakar Reddy, Secretary, Dr.P.M.Kishore, H.O.D, S&H Department, other H.O.Ds and faculty members took part in the event.
