Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) organized a three day workshop on “Basics of Auto CAD” in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC). Hands-on training is offered for I B.Tech Civil Engineering students from 28th January to 2nd February, 2019 by the Mr. N. Naga Sai, Ms. B. Divya Gatathri, Ms. B. Vani Priyanka and Mr. S. Abraham Naveen who are the Master Trainers of APSSDC,. The Workshop provides skills on various concepts related to Auto CAD right from the fundamentals and make the students industry ready. 69 students from our Institution have registered for this program. The Principal of GIST, Prof. Dr. G.Subba Rao in the inaugural address mentioned the importance of Auto CAD for modern engineers. Dr. P. Chakrapani, HOD/IICC coordinated the workshop along with Dr. Ch. Kalayani HOD, S&H.
