A Report On Three Week Online Workshop
on
“Product Design & Drafting by SOLID EDGE”
The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a three week online workshop on “Product Design & Drafting by SOLID EDGE” with the support of Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation(APSSDC) from 21-06-2021 to 07-07-2021 in Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology.
The inaugural session preceded by the Head of The Mechanical Engineering Department Dr.T.Sunil Kumar, addressed gathering by IICC Head, Dr.P.Chakrapani and the importance of the workshop by Principal of GIST, Dr.G.Subba Rao as well as the technical information explained by Mr. Kumar Mayank priyadarshi, technical lead of Mechanical Department in APSSDC.
The main objective of this workshop is to create great learning platform for students of 2nd year and 3rd year regarding design of the products by using software tool(SOLID EDGE) to enhance their knowledge while creating 3D models.
Kolagadi Jaya Durga Phani and Karra Prasanna Lakshmi are the trainers from APSSDC, explained each and every concept related to product design & drafting by SOLID EDGE.
Mr.Sk.Rahmath Basha ably supervised the proceedings of the event.
