A  Report On Industria Visit To SDS Thermal Power Station::Nellore

The III year and II year Mechanical students of 28 members have visited SDS Thermal Power Station, Nellore   on 21/02/2024 accompanied by two faculty members, namely Mr.V.Ramu Assoc. Prof and Mr. Sk.Rahamath Basha Asst. Prof. The visit enables the students for  practical exposure to the Thermal Power Station. The students observed various sections in the power station  like coal handling section, turbine section, boiler section as well as the control room. The power station was producing 800MW of electricity in each unit, which was the only power station  which produce highest electricity. The whole power station is working in auto mode everything was controlled in the control room itself only. Students got immense knowledge and real time exposure to the mechanical components in SDS thermal power station.

The institute has conveyed special thanks to SDS Thermal Power Stations:Nellore Authorities for having given permission to our students.
