A Report On Industria Visit To SDS Thermal Power Station::Nellore
The III year and II year Mechanical students of 28 members have visited SDS Thermal Power Station,Nellore on 21/02/2024 accompanied by two faculty members, namely Mr.V.Ramu Assoc. Prof and Mr. Sk.Rahamath Basha Asst. Prof. The visit enables the students to practically visualize the functioning boilers, their mounting and accessories, Material handling equipment, Cooling towers, Ponds, working of steam turbines, condensers and also a generation of electricity by the use of electrical generators.
All the above topics are covered in thermal engineering II and in electrical technology subjects. In addition to the above, they learn about heat exchangers which are included in heat and mass transfer subjects. The institute has conveyed special thanks to SDS Thermal Power Stations:Nellore Authorities for having given permission to our students.
