A Report On One Week Workshop
on
“Mechanical Component Drafting by AUTOCAD”
The Department of Mechanical Engineering organized a one week workshop on “Mechanical Component Drafting by AUTOCAD” with the support of Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation(APSSDC) from 05-10-2023 to 11-10-2023 in Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology.
The inaugural session preceded by the Head of The Mechanical Engineering Department Dr.P.Kumar Babu, addressed gathering by IICC Head, Dr.P.Chakrapani, motivation to the students given by the principal Dr.K.Sundeepkumar regarding workshop and the importance of the workshop by Director of GIST, Dr.G.Subba Rao.
The main objective of this workshop is to create great learning platform for students of II&III year regarding drafting of mechanical component using drafting tools in AUTOCAD as well as isometric drawing and also known 3D interface tools in AUTOCAD.
Ms.G.Summohana trainer from APSSDC, explained each and every concept related drafting in AUTOCAD.
