A REPORT ON INDUCTION PROGRAMME FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2021-2022 HELD ON

An induction Programme, welcoming the fresher B.Tech students for the academic year 2021-2022 was organized by the Dept. of Science and Humanities on with great pomp and fanfare on . The programme was aimed at bringing about an awareness and orientation among the new entrants about the engineering education.

In connection with the event, the students lighted the ceremonial lamps, adding a touch of auspiciousness  Participating in the event as the Chief Guest, a renowned motivational speaker, Personality Development & Communication Skills Trainer and Founder of Sumedha Theatre Hyderabad, Mr. Chiranjeevi, underlined the importance of Engineering Education in the technological advancement of the nation Elaborating on the role played by communication skills in the current highly competitive, corporate scenario, he urged the students to focus on the development of the multiple dimensions of their personality with high moral and ethical standards apart from achieving academic and professional growth by imbibing dynamic leadership qualities. He congratulated the Administration and Management for initiating such a useful and valuable programme.

Addressing the students on the occasion, Dr.G. Subba Rao, Principal said that the institution was well-known in the district as a ragging-free college and that the admissions, results and placements speak volumes of the lofty academic standards in technical education that the institution has set over a decade.

Thanking the students for choosing the institution to pursue technical education, Mr. N. Sudhakar Reddy, Secretary stated that the institution was achieving a steady continuous progress, over the years systematically upgrading the infrastructure, facilitating an ideal academic ambience, focusing on the institute-industry interface, to widen the scope of employment opportunities for the engineering graduates.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. P.M. Kishore, H.O.D of S&H dept, outlined the various academic measures and activities that the dept is initiating to broaden and strengthen the technical base and skill sets among the students to match with the industry demands and requirements. He added that S&H dept is deeply committed to building the bright careers of the engineering graduates and transforming them into dynamic visionary engineering professionals.

The programme turned out to be a huge success with all the H.O.Ds, faculty participating in it with zeal and enthusiasm.
