A National level virtualtechnical symposium“Sarga-2k21” at 17th July, 2021
Department of ECE of Geethanjali institute of science and technology organised a national level virtual technical symposium “Sarga-2k21” at 17th July, 2021 in online mode to engineering students. The motto of the event is to bring up the students in technical expertise of electronics and communication fields and this was organised in association with the IEEE student chapter of the institute and IETE on Zoom platform.
Around 500 students from the various colleges participated in paper presentation, poster presentation, technical quiz, circuit design and project expo events in the symposium and their excellency were demonstrated and lauded.
Dr. K. Radhika, Associate Professor, ECE coordinated the program and Mr. P. Raghava Reddy, Associate Professor, HoD(Admin) delivered welcome address to all the participants of the program. Dr. Shaik Mahaboob Basha, Professor, HoD(Academic) gave inaugural address and Principal Prof. Dr. G. Subba Rao delivered presidential address and elaborated the advancements in the VLSI and IC design and development industries in india.
Governing address given by Shri. N. Sudhakara Reddy, correspondent and Secretary of the institute. Mr. M. Venkata Suman, Principal Engineer from Chelsio Communication, Bangalore orated on recent trends in VLSI and career opportunities in the fields to ECE graduates. And also he insisted participants to learn advanced tools which would be helpful them to excel in VLSI domain related careers. Keynote address by the chief guest inspired many students to take up VLSI related careers in future. Dr. D. Regan, Associate Professor, ECE and Mr. G. Kiran Kumar, Associate Professor ECE Coordinators of Sarga 2K21 made all arrangements for smooth conduct of the events.
