“A LIVE WEBINAR ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING”
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering ,Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology,Nellore,Andhra Pradesh organized a Live Webinar on “Artificial Intelligence-Machine Learning” on 29-5-2020,during 2-30 p.m -4.00 P.m.
Dr.S.Varadarajan, Professor, ECE, SVUCE, Srivenkateswara University, Tirupati was the resource person.
A total of 595 Faculty members from different engineering of the nation were registered to the webinar through the link https://forms.gle/VCU2DATkS9pnySuVA .
The speaker explained the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and the current need for the Artificial intelligence in many sectors to improve quality. He also briefed about the concepts of Machine Learning which is sub part of Artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence is playing vital role in day to day life starting from listing the recommendations in You Tube videos, Google search engine e.t.c . the professor explained the some case studies of real time examples related to speech recognition, Medical image Processing ,Agricultural engineering e.t.c.The speaker also covered about Aarogya Sethu app helping to prevent spreading the Covid -19.
Prof.Dr.G.Subbarao,Principal ,Geethanjali Institute of Sci& Tech addressed the participants in the valedictory about the importance of Technology in the current Covid -19 crisis.
