Orientation Day Held for III B.Tech Students
An Orientation Programme was organized under the auspices of the Training and Placement Division GIST CARVING CAREERS for III B.Tech students, as part of the interface between Industry and Institution on 17/7/2017, i.e Monday
Participating in the event as the Chief Guest, renowned industrial expert, Public speaker, former HR Manager and Business Partner, Polaris Software, Hexaware Technologies and Wabco, Mr Charles urged the students to develop their skills keeping pace with emerging industry trends and demands. Students would have plenty of avenues for Career Development in software as well as Core Engineering domains if they gain strong command and grip on the basics of their core subjects.
Another guest of honour, Ms. Gayathri, Assistant Manager Kone Elevator India Private Ltd. advised the students to update their skills and competencies, closely watching the developments in the evolving technologies at the global level and stay relevant to the industry expectations. She said that engineering aspirants should become ‘industry-ready’ by developing awareness of the global corporate and industrial scenario.
