Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology hosted the Faculty development Program on entrepreneurship development conducted by ni-MSME(National Institute of micro, small and medium sized enterprise) from the 3rd of March 2014 to15th March 2014

The inaugural ceremony was graced by the august presence of Prof. Dr G. Raja Rami Reddy vice-chancellor of Vikrama Simhapuri University. He profoundly extolled the importance of students embracing entrepreneurship for the industrial transition of the current era in his speech.

A Plethora of speaker adorned the programme pooling their intellectual resources to enlighten the gathering.

Dr. Suja Sasidharan Nair, in charge of Department of Business Studies Vikrama Simhapuri University incepted the inaugural ceremony of the faculty workshop with the session Entrepreneurship Motivation lab which conveyed the multitudinous of the aspects required to establish an organization.

Mr. C.V. Ramakrishna Rao, Retired Senior Divisional Engineer of BSNL and Director of intermediate, law and PG Colleges. He expounded the sublimeness of ethical and moral values in the practice of entrepreneurship and emphasized the importance of the right passionate intention as the motive of business development.

Mr. A. Sudhakar, Promotional Manager of DIC, Nellore, gave insightful snippets about small scale industry development and the vast number of provisions available for the same.

Dr. P.C. Reddy, Asst. Prof, Department of Business Studies, VSU gave a bird’s eye view about the progress of entrepreneurship in India.

Mr. Mahaboob Basha, scholar in Business studies, VSU gave an inspiring presentation of women entrepreneurship, its progress and the problems taken by women entrepreneurs.

Mr. P. A. L. Ananth Babu, senior LIC officer, Nellore division, gave an inspiring presentation on business opportunities prevailing in the recent scenario. He shared his opinions on how the small entrepreneurs enlarge their markets in retail sector.

Mr. M. Sandeep Kumar, Asst. Professor and soft skills trainer, Geethanjali Institute of PG studies, Nellore, gave an insightful session on requisites to establish business and the model of introspection to be practiced for the attitude alignment of young aspiring enterpreneurs.

Mr. P. Raghava Reddy, Asst Professor of Geethanjali Institute of PG studies, Nellore, expressed the financial feasibility of the business projects. He highlighted the various sources of raising capital required to start a business. He shared the risk and return factors prevailing in financial area of the project.
