Report of an online FDP on “POWER BI & TABLEAU”
The Department of CSE organized an Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Power BI & Tableau from 15-8-25 to 21-8-25. The objective of the FDP was to equip faculty members with advanced knowledge and hands-on skills in business intelligence and data visualization tools that are widely used in industry and academia. The FDP received enthusiastic participation from 41 faculty members of GIST. Participants actively engaged in Q&A sessions, hands-on practice, and shared their feedback on the training modules.
Objectives
- To introduce the fundamentals of Business Intelligence (BI) concepts.
- To provide hands-on training in Power BI for interactive dashboards and data analytics.
- To enhance knowledge on Tableau for effective data visualization and reporting.
- To bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry requirements in the field of data analytics.
