Orientation Programme (18th August 2025)

The Orientation Programme for B.Tech First Year Students was successfully conducted on 18th August 2025 at the New Seminar Hall, Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology. The event was graced by multitowering personalities Mr.V.Nagaprasad, a motivational speaker as a chieftguest of the event and Mr.P.Sujith reddy (designation) as a special guuest. The event wa glorified by eminent personalities Mr.VSudhakar Reddy President Ushdoya Educational Society, N.Sudhakar Reddy Secretary & Correspondent, Mr.P.Sreenivasulu Reddy Joint Secretary. Mr.Y.Vijayasankar Reddy Treasurer, Mr.Dr.G.Subba Rao Director, Dr.K.Sravan Kumar Vice principal, Deans, HoDs.The event was witnessed by the 1025 parents and students.The grand opening of the event was a spectucular vision of 700 lamp lightning by the newly joined first B-Tech students and the stage was filled with lamps symbolsing a good omen to start a new journey. Later invocation & mesmerising Prayer song and Welcome Dance added a spark in the event.
The Interaction was began with a warm opening note by Dr. P.M. Kishore S&H HoD followed by Welcome Address by Dr. K. Sravan Kumar(Vice Principal) followed by the Presidential Address by Prof. G. SubbaRao (Director) who inspired students to make the best use of their college life.
The first special Guest, Mr.PellettiSujith Reddy, shared his personal journey in the software industry, highlighting his initial struggles while earning just ₹6,000 and his rise to earning in lakhs. He motivated students to keep learning new technologies, stay updated, and work on becoming the best IT professionals. He also gave practical tips on how and what to prepare for industry success.
The Chief Guest, Mr. M. Nagaprasad, delivered a powerful motivational speech on the importance of parents in a student’s life. He shared his own hardships and family struggles, proving that determination and self-belief can overcome any obstacle. His life story deeply inspired both students and parents.
Members of the Management, the HoD of S&H, and Admissions Head Mr. TVLN. Kumar also addressed the gathering, guiding students towards academic excellence and personal growth. Felicitations were presented to the dignitaries as a token of gratitude. All the toppers from first year second semester were honoured through the Prize distribution ceremony.
The English Department of S&H took charge of the compering, ensuring the programme flowed smoothly. A lunch was arranged for both parents and students, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The interaction session with the Chief Guests gave parents and students an opportunity to engage directly, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Both parents and students expressed that the speeches were truly motivating and set a positive tone for the academic year ahead.The event was concluded with a formal vote of thanks by Mr.PVL. Madhavarao.
