Abstract

Telemedicine is a subset of Tele health, which includes both remote clinical service delivery and non-clinical elements of the healthcare system. For decades the costs and quality of teleconferencing often were prohibitive, particularly in a medical setting where communication must be clear, secure and reliable. In general it can be observed that many people are waiting at the hospitals or clinics in order to consult the doctor according to their appointment. Most of the times, people get tired of the process of getting  an appointment of  the  hospitals because of many reasons such as transport vehicle problems,  traffic problems, any climatic changes or long distance to  the hospital etc. Hence we can go for the medical system along with the telecommunications, information technology which can be named as “Telemedicine”.
