Duties and Responsibilities
- To provide primary medical care and first-aid services within the college campus.
- To conduct patient consultations and basic physical examinations in the college premises, Boys’ Hostel, and Girls’ Hostel.
- To administer prescribed medications and monitor students/staff under medical observation.
- To attend to minor injuries and accidents occurring in laboratories, workshops, sports grounds, and other campus facilities.
- To provide free basic medical facilities to students and employees of the institution.
- To coordinate emergency medical services and arrange referrals to nearby hospitals when necessary.
- To promote health education and organize awareness programs on hygiene, nutrition, mental health, communicable diseases, and preventive healthcare.
- To conduct periodic health check-up camps and vaccination drives in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- To inspect and monitor hygiene and quality standards of food served in the hostel mess and college canteen.
- To maintain confidential medical records of students and staff as per institutional norms.
