  • Worked as Junior Executive Engineer at Coal India Ltd., Calcutta, (at its subsidiary BCCL, Dhanbad), from May ’89 to April ’91 and resigned for pursuing higher studies (2 years).

  • Organised a Technical Exposition ” THAUMATURGY — 96 ” exhibiting about 40 student developed and designed projects to public at Kancheepuram for 3 days during March 1996 in which one of the project “Proportional Amplifier” guided by me won a special prize of Rs.10,000/- from Tamilnadu State Council for Science & Technology (TNSCST).
  • Convenor of AICTE-ISTE sponsored short-term training programme (Winter School) on “CAD IN ENGINEERING” a two-week programme conducted for Engineering College Teachers at Arulmigu Meenakshi Amman College of Engineering, Kancheepuram, during December 1998, with a grant of Rs. 80,000/- from Indian Society for Technical Education (1STE).
  • Convenor of the business meet on “SOLAR THERMAL APPLICATIONS” conducted on 8th March 2003 at Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, Deemed University, Enathur, with a grant of Rs. 25,000/- from Southern Region, Ministry of Non Conventional Energy Sources (MNES).

Night soil based Biogas plant, funded by MNES, Instrumentation Maintenance facility etc., Chaired various Committees — Board of studies, Selection & Admissions Committees, Member KM, Academic Council, UGC, AICTE etc., Examiner for UG, PG and Ph.D., of Madras University, Annamalai University, Anna University etc., and currently guiding 3 Ph.D scholars.
