Water saving awareness programme was organized at Gangavaram village of Kovur Mandal by the CSE department of Geethanjali institute of science and technology on 26th Aug 2018. The programme was coordinated by K.Prabhakar Reddy, Assistant Professor of ECE department. 70 students took part in the event and created awareness among the villagers about rain water harvesting and water saving methods. They threw light on the consequences of water crisis, owing to drought and the importance of saving every drop of water without wasting this precious resource.
The villagers of Gangavaram gave a positive feedback to the programme, saving that they got hugely benefited from the event.
