SRUJANA 2K25 EVENT HELD AT GIST ON 02.05.2025
A Technical Fest titled GIST Srujana 2k25 under the auspices of the department of S&H was organized on a grand scale on 02.05.2025 at GIST.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. K. Sundeep Kumar,principal said that technical symposium, national level seminars, conferences and workshops play a central role in the promotion of engineering education. He said that the institution was initiating all necessary measures for the all round development of the engineering aspirants. He urged the students to give up the traditional rate learning methods and cultivate self learning methods while focusing on developing industry relevant skills. Dr. Sundeep Kumar said the college library was equipped with digital facility and a large number of global level journals, engineering books, research papers, which students can avail to expand their technical knowledge and professional expertise. Addressing the students on the occasion Dr. P. M. Kishore, H.O.D S&H dept and convenor of the programme said that the Tech Fest was oragnised with the main objective of inculcating comprehensive knowledge among the students in engineering mathematics, physics, chemistry and english and empower them in their engineering fundamentals. Speaking on the occasion Dr. K. Sravan Kumar Reddy, Vice-principal, urged that students to acquire a strong grip on their engineering subjects. So that they can build bright professional careers. He exhorted the students to take up socially relevant projects, and strive for the social development.
In connection with the event, poster presentation, paper presentation, technical quiz competitions were conducted and winners were given prizes.
Dr. P.M. Kishore said that 35 technical papers were submitted from various engineering colleges across the state.
