SRUJANA 2K24 TECHNICAL SYMPOSIUM AT GEETHANJALI INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY

A Technical symposium titled “SRUJANA-2K24” was conducted on 11-05-2024, Saturday with much fanfare and grandeur, under the auspices of the department of S & H.

Participating as the Chief Guest in the event, Dr. Suja Nair, Dean R & D, and HOD of Commerce and Management, Vikrama Simhapuri University, SPSR Nellore District urged the first B.Tech students to foster creative thinking to make innovations and undertake socially relevant projects for the benefit of the society. She asked them not to impose restrictions and boundaries on their thinking and appealed to them to expand their technical knowledge by leveraging the continuously evolving technology.

Addressing the students, Dr. G. Subba Rao, Director said that Artificial Intelligence is invading almost every sphere of human activity and the students must learn relevant technical skills to align with the emerging trends in the proliferating technologies, to be employable in the prevailing job market conditions.

Speaking on the occasion Dr. K. Sundeep Kumar, Principal said that students should cultivate a strong hold on their engineering fundamentals to build promising careers and usage of mobile phones should be restricted exclusively to the acquisition and updating of knowledge. He said that the institution is routinely organizing a wide array of seminars, Symposia, conferences, workshops and other technical events to upgrade and sharpen the technical capabilities of the students, thus laying sound foundations for their career advancement.

In all over 100 technical papers were presented on the occasion, from various engineering institutions across the state.

In connection with the event, poster presentation, paper presentation and technical quiz competition and general quiz competition were conducted and prizes were given away to the winners at the valedictory event held in the evening. All the HODs, Deans, faculty, non teaching and technical staff were present at the event.
