The Spoken Tutorial Project is about teaching and learning a particular FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) like Linux, Scilab, LaTeX, PHP & MySQL, Java, C/C++, LibreOffice etc. via an easy Video tool – Spoken Tutorials.

The salient features of trainings are:

1. This distance education method is highly conducive to learn on your own campus.
2. Once one gets started any student or faculty can master the FOSS and also get certificates.
3. UG, PG students and even teachers of Science, IT, Engineering disciplines can learn any of the FOSS.
4. If the participants wish to take the test they must do so a month after the Training.

Geethanjali initiated and effectively utilizing the resources of Spoken Tutorial to enhance the learning process of student. As a part of this, software Training and online certified exam for assessing the student was conducted on C, PHP, Java, Linux, Python, MySql and Scilab.
