REPORT ON INDUSTRIAL VISIT
The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized an industrial visit to BICS Global, Chennai on 12th September 2025. A total of 135 students along with 7 faculty members actively participated in this visit.
The objective of the visit was to expose students to the practical aspects of the IT industry and to familiarize them with the functioning of a professional corporate environment. The resource team at BICS Global provided an overview of the company profile, organizational structure, and key domains of expertise such as Devops, Cloud Computing, software development, IT services, and business solutions.
Students were given insights into real-time projects, the software development life cycle, project management methodologies, and the latest technologies being adopted in the industry. Interactive sessions with professionals helped the students to understand career opportunities, skill requirements, and industry expectations.
The visit proved to be a highly enriching and informative experience, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and industrial practices. The Department extends its gratitude to the management of BICS Global for their warm reception and valuable guidance in making this visit a grand success.
