One Day Workshop on Cyber Security in Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology
Computer Science and Engineering Dept of Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology, under the guidance of Andhra pradesh information technology academy (APITA), conducted a one day workshop in the college on cyber security on 10th April 2018 for III year Engineering students of the college. Sri ch. Veerabhadra Rao and Sri G. Vinay of ESF Labs Ltd. Acted as resource persons and enlightened the students on the project.
On this occasion Prof. G. Subba Rao, principal, GIST said that cyber security has become a necessity in the present day world. He added that learning and creativity are necessary to develop cyber security. He informed the students that competitions on their subject will be held at various levels and the winning students will be presented certificates, cash, internship, or jobs in reputed IT Companies.
Prof. Mrs. Y. Jahnavi, HOD CSE and many other faculty members participated in the workshop.
