Report On National Women’s Parliament
Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly had organized “National Women’s Parliament” event at state capital region Amaravati during 10th to 12th, February 2017. The objective of this event is to generate new ideas, concepts, theories and ideologies for women empowerment.
Buddhist spiritual leader Dalai Lama, Union Ministers M Venkaiah Naidu and P Ashok Gajapati Raju, AP Chief Minister N .Chandrababu Naidu, Pudicherry Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi, Bangladesh Parliament Speaker Shirin Chaudhury and many other dignitaries addressed this event at Pavitra Sangamam.
This event enabled and encouraged us in several aspects like social, political and economic empowerment of women in the society.
