Geethanjali Institute of Science and Technology celebrated the “National Voters Day” on behalf of NSS unit. The principal, management, staff and Students participated in this event and explained about the democracy and “Right to Vote” for every human being. On the occasion of Voter’s Day, a voter’s pledge was held in the premises of GIST College, where in the students took pledge that they will cast their vote fearlessly for the betterment of the country without considering religion, caste, creed, language or any inducement. Principal Prof. G. Subba rao motivated students to use their Right to Vote as youth’s participation in political process would strengthen Indian Democracy.
